“Audition” by Takato Noguchi

As personal expressions are spread on various Internet media, their evaluations are visualized numerically, and the eyes of others are perceived more severely. We follow the protagonist expressing herself without giving in to the inorganic eyes of others.

From The Director

When I create, I sometimes feel very scared of things I don't understand yet, like how others will evaluate my work once it’s complete, and we may wait for evaluation that appears in numbers, like how many likes we get, or much money we make.

However, after completion, most work is not seen by anyone, forgotten about and never appreciated.

Still, I think I have to keep expressing myself. I can accept the evaluation of others, but I don't want to give in what others say

We have the freedom to express ourselves before being evaluated by others.
