“Around the Table with Zoe Adjonyoh” By Ben Lankester

The pilot episode of a new series called 'Around the Table' for KitchenAid, we meet Ghanian cook and writer Zoe Adjonyoh as she takes us around her East London home of Hackney Wick.

We spent the day with Zoe, visiting her local market, coffee shop and other spots that inspire her and her creativity, before finishing with a supper club with friends.

FROM THE DIRECTOR

"‘Around the Table’ is a new documentary lifestyle series for KitchenAid. The pilot episode centres on Zoe Adjonyoh, a Ghanaian writer and cook living between East London and New York City. We spent the day with Zoe, visiting her local market, coffee shop and other spots that inspire Zoe and her creativity, before finishing with a supper club with friends. The film takes an editorial approach, integrating samples of my 35mm photography from New York and around the world, as well as new shots taken in and around Zoe’s home of Hackney Wick.”
