Hounds of Mercy” by Gabriel Studer-Randall

"Hounds of Mercy" is a psychological portrait of Bradley “Woody” Arrowood, a former Hells Angel who spent 25 years in prison for murder. Now living on a windswept ranch in Lancaster, California, Woody trains rescue dogs and reflects on the origins of his violence and the fragile gift of a second chance at life. Through intimate voiceover, the film traces his transformation from a man defined by rage to one reconnected with empathy through his bond with animals. "Hounds of Mercy" asks what it means to seek redemption—and whether freedom is earned, granted, or discovered within.
