“Pies en la tierra- Ama Retta” by Rodolfo Muñante Mariategui

We dive into the vivid and busy streets of Tarapoto, located in the  Peruvian jungle. Between the people and the tuk-tuks, we find Eli (Ama Retta) contemplating her surroundings with confidence and optimism. On her way to meet with friends in a waterfall deep in the jungle, she sings and reflects on her past and what led her see the light. This same light is that which falls upon as all at different moments in time and give as the strength to go on and enjoy life.
