“Radical Honesty” by Bianca Poletti

At the tail end of a great date, Jack and Rachel bond over a shared interest in deconstructing traditional relationship structures. When Jack reveals the reality of his "radical" open relationship, things take a turn for the absurd in this short film about the co-option of the language of liberation as means of manipulation and control.

FROM THE DIRECTOR

“For Radical Honesty I was deeply inspired tonally by the dinner scenes in 'White Lotus' I wanted to make sure we felt the awkward tension that builds later in their conversation, which is why we shot and used mostly CU's of Allison and Johns characters throughout the whole conversation. I also wanted to play with the juxtaposition of the old and the new. Having the characters have this very modern conversation in a very old school diner.”

-Bianca Poleti, Director
