From the director

“Under the Surface” is the first big film from director Nas Aidid, made in her hometown of Copenhagen. It’s a film exploring themes of guilt and fault, through friendship dynamics in extreme circumstances. As the two leads wake up to a dead girl in their home, the audiences follow their journey of taking care of this problem, while also getting glimpses of what happened the night before.

This film was also used as an exploration for the crew to learn more about their style, and tone for future creative endeavors.
