“Wish You Were There” By Kieran Thompson

Synopsis

An older couple on a first date at the art museum explores love both new and old.

Directors statement

I was drawn to this story because it allows us to show those butterfly moments from the beginning of a relationship, as well as the patience and perseverance required by a decades-long marriage. We see our couple falling in love, while also learning to cope and to let go. All spurred by a “first date” at the museum.
