“Bibiza-Tanzen” by Roland Schafek

Set in a club that could be located in either Vienna or Berlin, “Tanzen” follows a group of women reclaiming their space by confidently confronting unwanted advances and navigating the dancefloor on their own terms. The video tells a visually striking story of female empowerment, self-expression, and resistance within nightlife culture.

The lyrics of “Tanzen” reflect a desire to escape social pressure, male entitlement, and the superficial norms that often define club environments. With a mix of irony and authenticity, Bibiza critiques performative masculinity and encourages a more inclusive, respectful atmosphere. The chorus invites listeners to simply “dance” – not for validation, but for personal liberation and joy.
