“Chew Bear - The Morning” by Molly Shears

A young woman drifts off to sleep and dreams of empty winter streets. Her world blurs at the edges, with half-formed memories slipping in and out of clarity, like shadows at the edge of sleep. Amid the haze, she glimpses a faceless companion who leads her deeper into the surreal landscape of her dreams.

When she awakens, the figure is gone.  As she falls back asleep once more, their journey continues until morning comes. ‘Mornings’ represents a cyclical pursuit of something intangible - a companion, a feeling, a piece of one’s self - forever just out of reach.
