“Ask Your Friends” by Joshua Carone

Beyond the Short Official Premiere

Despite being dumped at the beginning of senior year, WHIT thinks he’s found the one in FRIDA, a junior. So much so that he hosts a party for the sole purpose of talking to her. His friend and roommate KERN is wary of Whit’s behavior. A natural cynic, Kern is convinced dating in college is futile, especially with graduation on the horizon.

Meanwhile, NANCY, another member of the friend group, is cheating on her longtime girlfriend, SAM. Unable to enjoy the function on account of her guilt, she eventually confides in DONALD about her relationship. JENNY, the final member of the group, is oblivious to the conflict. She just wants to party.
