“Annayude Yatra” by Rahul Vellithodi
The protagonist Anna embarks on a cab ride to meet the important people in her life - her inner circle. The cab driver and her get friendly and develop a good camaraderie during the journey, sharing their own perspectives of life, and philosophizing. The cab ride is peppered with brief meetings with the people in her inner circle, unfolding their roles in Anna's life, as she looks for the closure . The cab driver becomes the eyes, ears, and mouth of the audience, thrown into retrospection about life, love and human connections.
